Hi loves!
Have you ever driven by a place over and over again and keep telling yourself "I have to go in there sometime"? This place intrigued me specifically because of the ' #ThaiFood ' (one of my favs) spelled out in red on the glass window and it just looks authentic and somewhat dated. It is indeed, in the best ways. I finally made my way in on a rainy day and it was as if I wasn't in Nashville anymore. The International Market has been in #Nashville off of Belmont Boulevard since 1975 serving Thai and Oriental cuisine. Walk in the door and immediately get a whiff of the aroma of thai spices. Not only do they offer hot and ready Pad Thai, Green Curry, delicious fresh Spring Rolls and Thai Tea; you can find an array of oriental tea pots, sauces, spices, candies and more. When you sit down to eat in the old-school salmon colored booths you are accompanied by beautiful hanging plants.
If you're in the mood for a little adventure, some delicious Thai food, or need a special sauce for a dish- this is the perfect spot. I read an article on the wall about the secret 'House Salad' (aka- lettuce wraps) that are served with approximately 20 fresh ingredients like mango, pineapple, lemongrass, pickled ginger, peanuts etc. and is only available to order for 4 or more. Going back soon to try it. Who wants to join me? #letsgo I also spotted a sake set that will look really pretty on my bar cart. #need
